A VR training project begins with what someone needs to learn or practise. The environment, interactions and hardware should serve that goal. A clearly defined scenario gives your subject-matter team and development partner a shared basis for designing the experience.
Define the training task before the scene
State the task, the audience and the expected behaviour. Exploring a space, rehearsing a sequence and assessing a decision are different experiences, with different production needs.
Identify what feedback the learner needs and which parts of the procedure require review by your authorised subject-matter experts.
Describe the interaction depth
A guided walkthrough and an interactive simulation can look similar in a screenshot but involve different work. List the objects, actions, choices and feedback that the learner should encounter.
Agree the reference material, environment detail, scenario variations, languages and revision process before asset production begins.
- Learning or practice objective
- Environment and equipment references
- Interactive objects and sequences
- Feedback and assessment needs
- Languages and subject-matter approvals
Plan for the place where training happens
Choose the device after understanding connectivity, available space, instructor involvement and how the experience will be used. Offline requirements, updates and reporting also need a delivery plan.
For institutional use, onboarding and support matter alongside the application. Establish who sets up devices, supports sessions and coordinates feedback.
Use a pilot to make the next decision
A defined pilot lets learners and instructors review the actual experience. Agree what they will assess and how changes will be prioritised before a wider rollout.
Our NursingVR and IndustryVR portfolio shows the team's direction in immersive learning and simulation. For a custom engagement, we scope your own scenario, audience, devices and review responsibilities.
