The VR & AR building in the 8xWork world

04The VR & AR building

VR and AR for training and simulation.

We develop interactive environments for healthcare, industrial and defence training. Your scenarios, procedures and subject-matter reviews guide the content and interactions.

Floor 01 · How we work

Four stages. Something concrete to review at each.

We agree responsibilities, review points and acceptance criteria before the build. Each stage produces something concrete to discuss.

  1. 01

    Define the brief.

Map the users, current process and intended result. Prioritise the first release and identify dependencies, budget and decision-makers.

You review: the scope & acceptance criteria.
  2. 02

    Review the approach.

Review the important decisions through a prototype, storyboard or technical plan. Resolve the largest unknowns before full production.

You review: a prototype, plan or sample.
  3. 03

    Build and test.

See working releases at agreed milestones. Check complete journeys and record feedback against the approved requirements.

You review: working milestones & test results.
  4. 04

    Launch and hand over.

Complete acceptance checks and the agreed documentation, access and training. Confirm who owns operation, maintenance and the next release.

You review: the release & handover pack.

Floor 02 · What you get

What your engagement can include.

The proposal defines the deliverables selected for your project, their depth and how they will be reviewed.

01

Experience & content design

Learning or interaction goals, scenarios and review with your subject-matter team.

02

3D environments & interaction

Assets, scenes, interactions and feedback for the agreed headset or device.

03

Platform & deployment plan

Hardware selection, offline or online requirements and instructor workflows where needed.

04

Pilot & handover

User trials, revisions, onboarding and an acceptance plan for the scoped experience.

Typical projects

  • Practical training that is difficult to repeat in person
  • A process or environment that needs an interactive simulation
  • An AR experience that explains a physical product or space
  • An existing training programme that needs immersive content

Floor 03 · An example we can scope

A procedure people can rehearse in a virtual setting

An example brief: learners enter an environment, follow a procedure and receive feedback on defined actions. Your subject-matter team reviews the scenario and content.

  1. 01

Orient the learner in the environment

  2. 02

Guide or assess the required actions

  3. 03

Respond to choices with clear feedback

  4. 04

Review the session where reporting is in scope

Floor 04 · Scope & cost

What should someone practise, explore or understand?

Start with a defined scenario, audience and device. We agree the interaction depth and content review process before production. Custom VR and AR engagements start at ₹5 lakh; device procurement and additional scenarios are quoted by scope.

International proposals are available in USD. Your proposal identifies dependencies, review milestones and acceptance criteria, with recurring licences, hardware, travel and support itemised where relevant.

01

Objective & interaction

Choose the task, audience, scenario variations, interactive objects and depth of guidance or assessment.

02

Assets & expert review

Identify references, equipment models, scripts, languages and the people responsible for approving specialist content.

03

Device & deployment

Define headset or mobile targets, space, offline use, instructor involvement, updates and any reporting integrations.

Discuss your requirements

Floor 05 · Review & handover

Make completion something you can check.

We use the agreed scope to define the reviews and evidence your team needs before acceptance.

  • Review the approved scenario and interaction sequence.
  • Try the experience on the intended target device.
  • Check guidance, feedback and the agreed user controls.
  • Review content with subject-matter experts and plan the pilot.

The handover belongs in the plan.

Agree application builds, device setup instructions, content approvals, asset and source-file terms, onboarding and support. Headsets, languages and future modules are itemised in the scope.

Floor 06 · Projects

Projects to explore.

Floor 07 · Questions

Project questions.

Do you build custom VR training for our process?

Yes. We work from your approved training objective, procedures and reference material. Your subject-matter experts review the content at agreed milestones.

Which headset or platform should we choose?

The right choice depends on the environment, fidelity, interactions, connectivity and budget. We establish device requirements during discovery rather than assume one platform suits every project.

Can the experience work offline?

Offline operation can be included where the selected hardware and application design support it. Updates, reporting and synchronisation requirements must also be scoped.

How is a VR project priced?

Scenario count, environment detail, 3D assets, interaction depth, languages and platform features drive the quote. Our minimum custom-project engagement is ₹5 lakh.
